Patients Without Legal Capacity (Safeguards) Bill (Failed bill 2001/02 session)
Helen Clark (Lab, Peterborough) introduced this bill, with support from the charity Mencap and the Alzheimer's Society, to introduce a procedure whereby decisions that involve deprivations of liberty are taken in accordance with a procedure prescribed by law which can be challenged.
