BUPA helps disaster relief campaign

BUPA chief executive Val Gooding said: "I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all those suffering from the impact of the tsunami disaster. We employ over 100 people in Thailand, all of whom are accounted for. We also have customers in each of the countries affected and are doing everything we can to offer them assistance and support."

"BUPA has donated £100,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee and has launched an internal fundraising campaign. Community Connections will be co-ordinating fundraising events throughout our businesses and will top up funds raised by BUPA people around the world to maximise the amount available for the disaster fund."
