New law to protect cancer and HIV sufferers

Draft legislation to combat discrimination against those with a disability will give new employment protection rights to patients suffering conditions such as HIV, cancer and multiple sclerosis. Under the current regulations the rights are only granted once the symptoms of the illness become apparent.
