Labour accused of 'patronising attitudes' to race
A Conservative race adviser has accused Labour of stoking racial tensions through its policies.
Mohammad Riaz, a candidate at the last general election, claimed that the government had "patronising attitudes" towards ethnic minorities.
Race is set to be a central issue in the local elections - with the British National Party fielding 18 candidates in the race hotspots of Oldham and Burnley.
