Tory race rebel will not be silenced
Tory MP John Townend says that he will not be silenced as MPs from all parties have attacked his controversial views on immigration and race.
Conservative leader, William Hague, has come under strong pressure to withdraw the party whip form the senior backbencher who is standing down at the next general election.
The Guardian claims that Conservative associations throughout the country are publishing "openly racist" general election leaflets.
