Whitehall focus for Remembrance Day
Politicians and members of the Royal Family have gathered in Whitehall for the annual Remembrance Day service.
The Queen led thousands of former service personnel and politicians at the Cenotaph on Sunday amid tight security.
For the first time veterans of Falklands war, which took place 20 years ago, led the march past for the first time.
The prime minister and his wife Cherie joined the Royal family along with senior members of the cabinet Leader of the Opposition Iain Duncan Smith - himself a former soldier - and Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy.
