PAT already welcomes nursery nurses and nannies in its Professional Association of Nursery Nurses (PANN) section.

Message from the General Secretary:

"There are many professionals who work alongside teachers and lecturers and we want to offer them the same high quality, personal service that our existing members enjoy. Many of the professionals who are joining us did not have a dedicated, specialist union they could belong to - a large generalised union cannot offer the same degree of knowledge or support. PAtT enables all education staff to belong to the same union - PAT, the union for the whole education team, with members from nursery to tertiary."
