For those advising young people on SET careers, the variety of organisations providing information can be a problem itself. To make choosing the various careers guidance materials easier, the ETB, with support from the Campaign to Promote Engineering and SEMTA, has produced the third Engineering & Technology Careers Resource Catalogue.

CD-Rom for Teachers and Careers Advisors
The etb has developed an inter-active, web-enabled CD-Rom for teachers and careers advisors which will update their perceptions about careers in engineering.
This includes information on working environment, salaries and prospects; and explains the wide variety of routes into the profession. It can be used as a learning aid as well as a lesson resource.
