The energy market is evolving rapidly and, as part of this evolution, a new industry body - the Energy Networks Association ENA - was launched on 1st October 2003 to provide a strategic focus for the energy networks sector.
Communication is at the centre of the ENA, with strategy development and regulation being the drivers behind all of its operations.

Our Mission
To promote the interests, growth, good standing and competitiveness of the UK energy networks industry in the UK and overseas.
To provide a forum for discussion among Company members and others of issues which concern or may affect the interests of UK energy networks industry and to publicise informed opinion on these matters to the energy regulator, Ofgem, government and other institutions.
To promote and protect the common interests of ENA members.
To monitor, influence and campaign for or against policies, proposed decisions, and legislative or regulatory instruments, of government and other institutions which may affect the UK energy networks industry.
