Supporting Depression Alliance’s Work

Depression Alliance

Did you know that at least one in five of us will be affected by depression at some point in our lifetime? Virtually all of us know someone whose life has been blighted by depression. Through our daily work we often see the pain and despair that depression causes - not just for the individual, but also for their family and friends.

As the only national charity in the UK dedicated to this illness, Depression Alliance works tirelessly year in year out to provide information, support and understanding to those affected by the condition.

Working from offices in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh we support thousands and thousands of people each year. However, as you can imagine providing so much support isn't cheap and we need your help to carry on our vital work.

To make a donation send your contribution to Depression Alliance, 35, Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7JB. Remember that your gift goes further with gift aid so please print out and send in the following declaration:

For every donation you make to us, we can now claim back the tax paid (equivalent to 28p in every pound), provided
you pay an equal amount of income tax or capital gains tax. Please tick one of the boxes below if you would like to make your money go even further at no extra cost to you:

Either
* I would like Depression Alliance to claim the tax back on the enclosed donation of £...
or
* I would like Depression Alliance to claim the tax back on all donations I make from the date of this declaration until I notify you otherwise.

Depression Alliance also values donations of time and skill. This could be anything from volunteering a few hours of your time, to providing your expertise on our Executive Committee or name to our campaign.

For further information about the ways in which you can support us please contact Amelia at our London office (020 7633 0557 ext. 201, )
