Who we are

The Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC) is the official voice of the passenger rail industry representing the 25 franchised passenger train companies, Hull Trains, Eurostar and Rail Express Systems to the Government and other opinion formers on transport policy issues.

ATOC was formed in April 1994 to manage many joint activities for train operators including National Rail Enquiries, Railcard marketing, London Travelcards, staff travel arrangements, international products, revenue allocation and settlement, travel agent licensing and to advise on impartial retailing.
