Pension dispute leads to new Blair-Brown rift

A dispute between the prime minister and the chancellor is reported to be behind a delay in the announcement of new government moves to simplify tax structures. Tony Blair is said to want the £1.4 million cap on pension savings lifted, a move resisted by Gordon Brown.
