British Legion issues challenge over Gulf war jabs
The Royal British Legion is on a collision course with the Ministry of Defence over the multiple vaccination of 52,000 soldiers in the first Gulf war.
"We have been appalled by the attitude of the Ministry of Defence," said Colonel Terry English, the legion's director of welfare.
"They have refused to answer questions from our parliamentary adviser, Lord Morris, for over a year about whether they had followed safety guidelines for anthrax and other vaccines."
