A patient who complained to the prime minister after waiting eight hours on a hospital trolley experienced a 42-hour wait on a trolley on her latest visit to the same hospital.

Barbara Tunstead, 58, who suffers from chronic lung disease, said that doctors and nurses "simply do not have the facilities".
