May seeks 'much broader appeal'
Theresa May will tell Conservative delegates today that she expects a "step-change" towards a more equal "gender split" in candidates for Tory-held and marginal seats.
The Conservative chairman is interviewed in the Guardian calling on Tories "to have a much broader appeal".
