Scientists claim ecstasy is not dangerous

Three psychologists have claimed that ecstasy is not dangerous because some of its ill effects may be imaginary.

The scientists, two of whom are British and one who is American, claim that many of the studies on the drug have been flawed.

Paul Betts, whose daughter Leah died after taking the drug in 1995, called the scientists' work "despicable".
