The Royal National Institute for the Blind is calling for a change in the law to allow blind and partially sighted people to sue bus and train companies for any injuries suffered when using public transport.

In a report out today, the RNIB claims that hundreds of thousands of people with vision problems rarely go far from their homes because of poor facilities and inadequate protection.
