The Telegraph today reports that Gordon Brown is in favour of reducing Britain's order for 232 new Eurofighters in order to buy two new aircraft carriers.

The Ministry of Defence is next week expected to receive hundreds of millions of pounds for the war against terrorism - although education, policing and asylum issues will receive the most cash.
