Female car worker 'forced' to have lunch with PM
The only women worker on a Nissan car production line was "forced to have lunch" with Tony Blair when he visited the Tyne and Wear plant.
She was told to be nice to the prime minister and thank him for a government grant to the car company shortly before she was sacked, the former production worker told an employment tribunal.
Beverley Ward is claiming constructive dismissal on the grounds of sexual discrimination.
