Gurkha claim could cost £2 billion

Twenty ex-Gurkhas have launched a race discrimination case against the government which could cost the Ministry of Defence £2 billion.

Cherie Booth QC is representing the ex-servicemen, who claim their pay and conditions were worse than other troops.
