Survey finds 20-hour A and E wait
A snapshot of hospital accident and emergency units has found that, on a typical day, 12 patients have to wait at least 20 hours on a trolley to be seen.
The study, by the Community Health Councils, found that in some cases patients have to wait five days in beds.
