An internal report shows the Metropolitan police has gone millions of pounds over budget, reports the Guardian.

Fraud, waste and lack of proper management controls are criticised and over-spending of more than £70 million is outlined. The budgets for wages, overtime, supplies and computer equipment are listed as being substantially overspent.
