The CBI has launched an attack on trade union redundancy "myths".

CBI chief, Digby Jones, accused union leaders of creating "damaging myths" about employment and redundancy laws in order to pressure the government in to accepting EU directives. The attack has been prompted by bosses' fears that the UK may drop opposition to a directive on employee information and consultation.
