Hobson's annual student survey has found that Tony Blair remains the student choice even though undergraduates remain less likely to vote Labour than the general population.

Blair was supported by 24 per cent, Conservative leader William Hague by seven per cent and the Lib Dems' Charles Kennedy by four per cent.
