Education secretary David Blunkett will today tell victims of bullying to turn to older pupils for support, getting them to scare off their persecutors.

The government will release a package of measures to tackle the playground problem, including a video featuring Patsy Palmer, Jo Brand and Tony Robinson.

Blunkett also believes the system should be changed to ensure that it is bullies, rather than those who are bullied, who are taken out of school.
