Former Labour leader Neil Kinnock has criticised Peter Mandelson and predicted Britain would have to join the single currency by 2003. Commenting on Mandelson's remarks that the government could not win the debate with economic arguments alone Kinnock said the Northern Ireland secretary "could try just doing his bloody job".
