About us
Which? campaigns actively for all consumers to make them as powerful as the organizations they have to deal with in their daily lives.
We're independent from government and industry as we're funded by the one million plus subscriptions to Which? magazines and related products.
There's no advertising in any of our magazines or websites.
Our publications help people make the right choice when buying products and services, tell consumers their rights and expose company wrongdoing.
Find out more about our publications on our website.
Which? magazine was launched in 1957 by Consumers' Association, an independent charity. Following a review in 2004, the whole organisation now works under the Which? name.
We operate from offices in Hertford, London and Edinburgh with about 430 staff.
We're also members of BEUC (European consumer organisation) and Consumers International where we lobby for improvements for UK consumers on an European and international level.
