IET Events
The IET runs a large number of events and seminars each year on issues ranging from courses on wiring regulations to negotiating skills for engineers. These events are based throughout the UK and also worldwide. Further details can be found on the IET website in the Events section.
The Institution also provides a number of lectures through the year on a wide variety of topics. These lectures are normally based at Savoy Place in London.
The Faraday Lecture, which is the UK’s largest touring lecture, visits a number of cities across the country and has a tradition of presenting cutting edge technology in exciting and interactive presentations. The Silvanius P Thompson Lecture is specifically designed for younger members of the IET but is also open to senior members and the public.
The IET has venues in London, Birmingham and Glasgow. Further information on these facilities is available from the IET website – Venue Details
