Key Statistics
CPI produces in-depth industry statistics at both an industry and Sector Body level, and also contributes to European and global statistics. Collective data sets are regularly disseminated to Members. They are also used as lobbying tools to evidence the points being made to Government and to promote the industry’s record in a number of areas.
Annual statistics include a measure of the UK performance in terms of paper and board production, recovered paper collection, domestic consumption, export volumes, as well as global market breakdown.
The Recovered Paper Sector Body produces monthly and annual reports on the level of recovered paper being reprocessed in the UK, and exported. The report gives a breakdown of market development for the four main types of recovered paper: corrugated materials, newspaper and magazines, mixed grades and high grades. Reports include a breakdown of the key global export markets and historical trends in UK trade.
