Welcome
As the UK professional body for HR professionals, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is well placed to contribute to the public policy debate on workplace issues. Drawing on the experiences of our 130, 000 members, many of whom have primary responsibility for implementing workplace legislation; our annual surveys and quarterly Labour Market Outlook report provide a solid benchmark with which to analyse the current state of the labour market and develop practical solutions to Government legislation and regulation.
Our public policy work can be broken into four identifiable themes:
- Labour supply
- Work life balance
- Skills
- Health and Wellbeing
