Association of Consulting Actuaries
Members of the Association of Consulting Actuaries (ACA) are allprofessionally qualified actuaries working in the consulting sectorwho advise individuals and corporate clients on a wide range ofissues. All actuarial advice given by Members is subject to theActuarial profession's code of conduct.
The major part of members? work is as advisers to UK pensionschemes with assets exceeding �650 billion. The vast majority ofthe largest schemes are advised by ACA members and they, amongstthousands of other companies and organisations, take advantage ofthe varied range of services offered by ACA members.
The consulting sector of the actuarial profession hasexperienced rapid growth in recent years, reflecting a widerrecognition of the skills and expertise available. The Associationis now the largest national grouping of consulting actuaries inEurope with over 1450 Members drawn from over 80 firms of allsizes.
The ACA is active in encouraging a wider understanding of theareas where its Members are active and, in respect of occupationalpensions, it provides the administrative and technical secretariatto the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Occupational Pensions.
