First meeting, 10th July
8:45am - 10am on 10 July in dining room A in the Palace of Westminster.
We will be discussing issues relating to the topic Small Business: trading through an economic downturn. Our two speakers will be:
- Simon Hargreaves, Director, Pret A Manger – from the humble beginnings of a sandwich shop opened in 1986 by college friends, Pret A Manger has grown one store at a time and now numbers over 150 in three countries.
- Jennifer Mowat, Director BT Tradespace. BT Tradespace is an online community incorporating a business directory and marketplace. Specifically aimed at supporting small business, BT Tradespace offers SMEs a completely free global online presence.
