The NCP Group consists of:
NCP
NCP is the most experienced and most profitable car park operator in Europe, successfully meeting the car parking needs of motorists for over 70 years. We currently operate over 500 car parking facilities, including multi-storey, surface and underground car parks, now serving over 60 million customers a year. We also operate car parking facilities at 10 airports, managing over 11 million customers per annum. A growing percentage of our airport customers now secure their car parking spaces through our call centre (0800 128 128) or our web-based booking facility (www.ncp.co.uk).
Integral to the full-service proposition NCP offers to our partners are our in-house divisions:
Technical Services:
NCP has developed and maintained an in-house Technical Services Department for the last 25 years. Its objective is to control operational costs whilst maximising profitability, efficiency, operational standards and introducing new technology to better service our internal and external customers.
This resource provides a multi-disciplinary approach, focusing on the needs of the company, our partners and the parking industry as a whole. Our team of professionals has a wide and varying remit, with projects including traditional procurement, design and build, and management contracts. Other projects range from commissioned research into concrete structures to installation of an intelligent fibre optic, city-wide network that will transport real time images across large areas of a city or the country.
Security:
The primary objective of the Security Department is to prevent theft and fraud within the NCP Group, while, at the same time, helping to protect our customers and partners against crime. Provision of this dedicated security facility is unique in the UK traffic management industry.
The team itself consists of more than twenty ex-CID officers with vast experience of crime prevention and detection. This in-depth security knowledge leads to close cooperation with police authorities and town centre management operations across the UK, resulting in a direct and positive impact on the control of crime in the car parking facilities of NCP and our partners.
NCP is also unique in being the only car park operator to have been awarded BS EN ISO 9002 Certification for its security procedures and systems at all its car parks.
Property Services
NCP has a property portfolio in the UK with asset values of nearly 400 million, with a substantial number of its car parking sites held freehold or long-term leasehold. We have a UK-wide network of fully-trained property professionals, including both building and property surveyors. They are available to work with local authorities and property companies in all aspects of property sale, purchase and development.
