Congestion Charging
The NCP Group is a member of the ClearWay consortium.
Many local authorities in the UK are seeking to manage the flows of traffic into their towns and cities by means of congestion charging systems, such as road user charging and workplace parking levies. Within the overview of Local Transport Plans, the objectives of such systems are to reduce traffic flows and to generate revenue for investment in multi-modal transport that reduces car dependency.
The NCP Group has joined together with Brown & Root and Thales to form a consortium to design, finance, build and operate congestion charging schemes in the UK and elsewhere. The consortium brings significant financial strength to confront congestion charging challenges, together with unrivalled technical, engineering and project management skills.
