UNION LEADER TO VISIT NORTHERN IRELAND

Deborah Lawson, the National Chairman of the Professional Association of Teachers (PAT), is to visit Northern Ireland from 10 to 11 April 2007. She was the first childcare professional and non-teacher to become Chairman of the independent union, which includes the Professional Association of Nursery Nurses (PANN) and Professionals Allied to Teaching (PAtT) as sections. Her term in office runs from July 2006 to July 2007.
Schedule
Deborah Lawson will be attending the NASUWT Annual Conference at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast, on 10 and 11 April.
On Tuesday 10 April at 5.30pm she will meet with a group of school nurses at the Europa Hotel to discuss the impact of Agenda for Change. Members of the press are welcome to join her there.
