TfL bid for Metronet contracts - LONDON FIRST RESPONSE
25 October 2007
Commenting on the announcement that Transport for London has lodged a formal bid to take control of Metronet Tube contracts, a spokesman from London First said:
“While TfL’s bid to move the Metronet contracts out of administration spells good news for the commuter, it is not a done deal and nor is future investment in the Tube. It’s essential that these contracts, whatever form they take, lock in a Tube improvement programme that delivers for London's commuters.”
