Press Release
Special event for East Midlands nannies
24 September 2008
Nannies from across the East Midlands will be able to meet fellow nannies and discuss their experiences of nannying – positive or negative – at a special focus group in October.
SIRC (Social Issues Research Centre), an independent research company, is carrying out a government-sponsored project on the roles, responsibilities and aspirations of nannies in England in order to raise the professional profile of nannying around the country.
SIRC is holding a two-hour focus group for nannies at the head office of Voice: the union for education professionals, 2 St James’ Court, Friar Gate, Derby, on Wednesday 22 October 2008 at 6:30pm.
Nannies interested in attending should call SIRC on 01865 262 255 or e-mail roger@sirc.org for more information. Those who attend will receive monetary compensation for their time.
