Skills Summit 2008
8 February 2008
Skills for Justice is pleased to announce this important one day event. Taking place on Tuesday 4 March 2008 at Mere Golf and Country Club, Cheshire, Skills Summit 2008 is a unique opportunity for delegates to come together from across the UK Justice sector and hear from key speakers in the skills arena, the very latest news on the skills agenda, and network and share information and good practice with colleagues across the sector.
With a mix of speakers and interactive seminars, conference content will include
pre-recorded key note speeches from David Hanson MP, Minister of State, Ministry of Justice, and David Lammy MP, Minister for Skillls, Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills. Bob Quick, Chief Constable Surrey Police, will also be speaking on the theme of Workforce Modernisation.
Delegate places are attractively priced at £185 for Skills for Justice subscribers, £285 for non-subscribers with representatives from the voluntary sector being offered places at the reduced rate of £100. As last year's conference sold out, we expect a high level of demand for this event and recommend booking places as soon as possible.
