January 2008
Skills for Justice is pleased to announce this important one day event. Taking place on Tuesday 19 February 2008 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Edinburgh, the conference brings together representatives from all the key agencies working within the criminal justice system in Scotland.
With a mix of speakers and interactive workshops, conference content will include a key note speech from Kenny MacAskill, Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary for Justice, on the Modernising Agenda – Improving Capability, Enhancing Services to our Communities.
The conference will also provide a unique opportunity to:
Hear from leading examples in the Scottish Justice sector
Highlight examples of best practice, enabling others to benefit from these experiences, emphasising partnership and inter-agency initiatives that are improving skills and service levels
network with colleagues from across the sector
Delegate places are attractively priced at £150 with representatives from the voluntary sector being offered places at the reduced rate of £100. As last year's conference sold out, we expect a high level of demand for this event and recommend booking places as soon as possible.
