New Marketing Training Directory Launched To Meet Marketers’ Changing Needs

London; 30 April 2008 – Following in-depth research into the changing needs of today’s marketers, The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s has launched its new Learning and Development Directory of Courses, for 2008-09.
“In a constantly evolving profession like marketing, keeping your skills and knowledge up to date is vital,” said Renita Shwili, Head of Marketing for Learning and Development, at The Institute. “Our new set of training programmes gives marketers the chance to keep pace with the very latest developments – from Brand Metrics and Digital Marketing, right through to Social Media Marketing.”
The new directory outlines the full suite of workshops and short-courses that The Institute offers – totalling more than 130 across both marketing and sales professions. These range from foundation courses for non-marketing managers or those new to marketing, to masterclasses for experienced and senior professionals looking to gain a deeper understanding of a particular subject.
Built around twelve core subject areas, courses are mapped to The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s professional marketing standards and more than 25 new course titles have been introduced to deliver breadth and depth of choice.
With such a wide range of training courses to choose from, marketers are sure to find something to leave them inspired, better-informed and equipped to meet today’s challenges.
