Greater disclosure on contracts fro difference is welcome
Thursday, July 3 2008
Responding to the FSA's update on disclosure for contracts for difference (CfDs), Guy Sears, Director - Wholesale, at the Investment Management Association said,
"Greater disclosure regarding trading positions is welcome. By not limiting themselves to positions that directly control votes, the FSA's proposal reduces the chances that ‘creative' investors might avoid the spirit of the new rules."
