EMF & British Brands Group : Consumer Research Seminar

Thursday 6 March 2008 from 02:30 pm  – 04:30 pm
The Committee Room, No 2 Millbank, London W1P 3LX

The Ethnic Minority Foundation in partnership with the British Brands Group is holding a Seminar with key stakeholders on the latest research commissioned by the British Brands Group on ‘Consumer needs not being met by UK grocery market’.  John Noble, Director of the British Brands Group states:

“Supermarkets meet basic needs well but, for many, other factors have to be compromised in order to benefit from the convenience of “all under one roof”. With an increasingly diverse UK population but an increasingly homogenous retail offer with declining numbers of specialist and convenience stores, these surprisingly high levels of dissatisfaction are only set to increase.”

The British Brands Group represents the voice of brand manufacturers in the UK and its member companies supply a wide variety of branded goods including, food and drink, household, pharmaceutical, DIY, clothing and sports goods.

As a national charity, working to improve the lives of Britain’s communities, EMF is delighted to host an event in which the needs of vulnerable consumers will be explored.

The EMF & British Brands Group Consumer Research Seminar will take place on Thursday 6 March 2008 at Millbank, Westminster and will be Chaired by Lord Bhatia, EMF’s Chairman.

This will be an opportunity to hear the perspective of John Noble, Director of the British Brands Group and a chance to discuss the research findings with Don Edwards, the author of the report at a Questions and Answers Session.
