The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and KPMG publish a quarterly survey of the recruitment, redundancy and pay intentions of our members who are HR professionals drawn from all sectors of the UK economy. The Labour Market Outlook report has built up a considerable public policy and media profile since its inception four years ago, and its significance has become even greater in the past year owing to a change in the economy.
The event will bring together experts from other leading organisations on pay and jobs in order to provide an accurate assessment of what is actually happening on the ground. Roger Tweedy will give his views on the impact of the current downturn on employment, Alastair Hatchett will present his findings on pay, and John Philpott will give a view on both these aspects of labour market policy.
