BSC scores 100% in annual survey
Thursday, July 3 2008
The British Safety Council (BSC) recently conducted its second annual survey to check customer satisfaction levels among centres delivering its Level 1 Certificate in Health and Safety at Work, a nationally-recognised qualification aimed at all employees in the workplace.
On the two key questions, 100% of centres rated the BSC as a ‘good’ or ‘very good’ awarding body (up from 96% last year) and 100% of centres rated the Level 1 Certificate as a ‘good’ or ‘very good’ qualification (up from 96% last year).
90% of centres considered the content and format of the Level 1 learning materials appropriate for their learners. 97% of centres rated the examination booking process as 'good' or 'very good' and 90% of centres rated the issue of results and certificates as 'good' or 'very good'.
There were many favourable comments: "I am entirely satisfied with the service provided by the BSC and rate this as excellent in comparison to other awarding bodies with which I have contact."
"I would have no hesitation in recommending this qualification to other companies within the UK."
We have always found the BSC very helpful. The fact that this qualification is free means that we are able to provide more training for our employees.”
BSC Quality and Compliance Manager, Sarah Reed said: "We are very pleased with the results which demonstrate our commitment to operational excellence and outstanding customer service. We will be acting on all the comments to further improve our service."
