Boris Johnson Housing and Planning manifesto - LONDON FIRST RESPONSE
17 March 2008
Responding to the publication of Boris Johnson’s manifesto for housing and planning, a London First spokesman said:
“The best way to increase supply of affordable housing is to increase supply of all housing. To an extent, that means the Government and the Mayor getting out of the way. Less regulation, less targets and a willingness to work with developers will achieve the maximum benefit for London and Londoners.
“We agree with Boris that we should support well-designed tall buildings. A world city needs space to grow and it should do so with high quality development.”
