Support for local and national campaigns lobbying for the State Pension to be raised to £90 and for further increases to be linked to rises in earnings.
Alcohol Misuse
As Chair of the All Party Group on Alcohol Misuse and as Patron of the local Alcohol Services for the Community, Kelvin works with others including Alcohol Concern to promote policies which will reduce the extent of alcohol misuse.
Noise Barriers on the M1
Kelvin is lobbying the Highways Agency to erect Noise Barriers on the M1 to protect residents living either side from traffic noise pollution. Luton North is the first built-up constituency that the M1 passes through afterLondon.
