Crispin was eager to hear the concerns of members of the club and the manager, Joy Carey, especially as the reorganisation of Primary Care Trusts could threaten the club and its satellites.

Crispin wanted to find out how the club was likely to prosper and to raise concerns about public order and drugs in the club. As a prominent local business Liquid and its sister club Envy should prove a welcome addition to Redhill town centre.

20 November 2002: Crispin Blunt getting to grips with energy policy on a visit to a micro combined heat and power boiler (chp) with MicroGen. CHP boilers in homes are due to be marketed in late 2003, after field trials. They replace conventional boilers and provide heating, hot water and electricity, along with monetary and environmental benefits. In layman's terms each house with it's own chp boiler becomes a mini power station generating it's own power. At some point in the future the chp plant in your home may be able to sell excess electricity generated by you to the National Grid.
