    Öpik praises local companies providing free bottled water to flood zone

    Lembit Öpik, MP for Montgomeryshire today welcomed news that local companies are helping victims of the Gloucestershire floods. Trederwen Springs and partners are donating 20,000 free bottles of water.

    Managing director of Trederwen springs, Dave Tinsley said:

    “We are glad to be able to help people affected by the floods through providing this water.

    “After seeing new footage of the stricken area, Trederwen Springs and our partners felt that we had the means and resources to provide much needed clean and fresh bottled water.”

    Praising the gesture, Lembit Öpik, said:

    “I have spent many years working with Mr Tinsley form Trederwen Springs, and I’ve always been impressed with the values and integrity of his company and his suppliers.

    “These floods have proved devastating to many families. I welcome the actions of Trederwen Springs, Amcor Packaging and Speed distribution.

    “It just goes to show that a time of crisis can bring out the best in people.”
