MP Welcomed the Wilsthorpe Citizen to Westminster

Liz Blackman the Erewash Member of Parliament welcomed the winner of the Wilsthorpe Citizen’s Award, Cameron McNeil, to Westminster last week.

The award is given for ‘good work’ around the school. As well as being sound and lighting technician for all the school’s shows and performances Cameron is a terrific cross-country runner and coaches younger students.

‘It was great to meet Cameron,’ said the MP. ‘He arrived in style thanks to first class tickets from East Midlands Trains and after a tour of Westminster he climbed Big Ben. I was pleased to be a part of the celebrations.’
