Mike Hall MP supports "Proud of Pubs Week"

On Friday July 17th Mike Hall MP visited Castle Private Club in Northwich to support the "Proud of Pubs Week" organised by The Publican magazine.

Despite the challenges that the industry is facing pubs continue to develop and serve communities.

Every week more than 15 million people socialise in the nation's pubs. More than 600,000 people rely on pubs and beer for their employment. More than 80% of pubs now serve food.

Mike Hall MP said:-

"I was delighted to accept the invitation from The Publican to go along to a pub and support 'Proud of Pubs Week'.

"I know that a lot of factors have affected pubs in recent years, but despite that many of them are adapting and changing and serving the community very successfully.

"The Castle Private Club is a perfect example of a pub which is thriving and provides a great atmosphere for people who socialise there."
